From an early age Dr. Kanwaljit S. Mann knew that caring for animals was his life's passion. He knew that it would not be easy, but with diligence and perseverance he accomplished his goals and finished his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Punjab Agricultural University (P.A.U). Shortly after he decided to immigrate to this great country and live out is American Dream. Dr. Mann was an avid believer in preventative Veterinary Medicine so he decided to continue his education at U.C Davis where he earned a Masters Degree in Preventative Veterinary Medicine. A few years later on July 1 1987 he opened his own veterinary practice and called it Aborn Pet Hospital.
Like many in the veterinary profession Dr. Mann has many pets. He has a rescued mix breed dog named "Lucy", a tea cup chihuahua named "Jhonny"and two office cats named "Hasena" and "Fluffy". In his free time Dr. K.S. Mann likes to golf, and host barbecues for the staff.

Natalie Suan - Receptionist
Hello I'm Natalie Suan. I've grown up in California all my life and attended college at Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, KS. Shortly after my return home i Started working in veterinary clinics in 2005. I've always had a soft spot for animals and like most of you I've always had pets in my home. I'm currently the guardian of my blue nose pit bull "Raider" and his best feline friend and sister" Chilkat" a Siamese mix. They are a very important part of my family. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family friends!

Hi there! My name is Yanely. I was fortunate enough to become a part of Aborn Pet Hospital in July of 2012. I've always had a strong passion for animals of all kinds. My current furry family includes my dogs "Jazmine" "Comet" "Tyson" "Chata" and "Lil One" My cats "Leo" "Solo" "Muffler" "Blackie" and "Beauty" and my not furry bearded dragon "Lil Man". I've also had the pleasure to raise goats, roosters, chickens, iguanas, and birds. I'd say it in my nature to spoil pets so expect me to spoil your baby when you come in. Oh! By the way hablo espanol tambien!
Juan Diaz - Veterinary Assistant
Juan Diaz has been in the Veterinary field since March of 2006. He enjoys working with animals which is why he came to the Veterinary field. He's hoping to be in this field for a long time because he loves what he does. In his free time he likes to listen to music and play with his cousins.
Juan is fluent in Spanish.
Merced Valencia - Veterinary Assistant
Merced was born and raised in Palo Alto, and he now resides in Newark. He is fluent in both English and Spanish and joined Aborn Pet Hospital in May of 2012 and currently works full time. Merced has been working with animals for over 13 years and has had pets all his life. When Merced is not at the clinic, he enjoys being in the great outdoors, going shopping, reading, spending time with his family and pets. Merced is a proud pet parent of 3 toy size Chihuahuas named "Hershey", "JujuBee", and "Bitsy", and a rescued chinchilla silver shaded persian cat named "Pelussa." He also has a sun conure and a large aviary where he keeps exotic pet bird finches, as a hobby. Merced also has a few pet fish, a rabbit whom showed up on his front porch, and miniature chickens. As you see Merced has a high passion for animals and their care. He is friendly and courteous and loves to SMILE.
