From an early age Dr. Kanwaljit S. Mann knew that caring for animals was his life's passion. He knew that it would not be easy, but with diligence and perseverance he accomplished his goals and finished his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Punjab Agricultural University (P.A.U.). Shortly after he decided to immigrate to this great country and live the American Dream. Dr. Mann was an avid believer in preventative Veterinary Medicine so he decided to continue his education at U.C Davis where he earned a Masters Degree in Preventative Veterinary Medicine. A few years later on July 1, 1987 he opened his own veterinary practice, Aborn Pet Hospital.
Like many in the veterinary profession Dr. Mann has many pets. He has a rescued mix breed dog named "Lucy", a tea cup chihuahua named "Jhonny" and two office cats named "Hasena" and "Fluffy". In his free time Dr. K.S. Mann likes to golf, and host barbecues for the staff.

Hello I'm Natalie Suan. I grew up in California and attended college at Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, KS. Shortly after my return home, I started working in veterinary clinics in 2005. I've always had a soft spot for animals and like most of you I've always had pets in my home. I'm currently the guardian of my blue nose pit bull "Raider" and his best feline friend and sister" Chilkat" a Siamese mix. They are a very important part of my family. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family friends!

Merced Valencia - Veterinary Assistant

Merced was born and raised in Palo Alto, and he now resides in Newark. He is fluent in both English and Spanish and joined Aborn Pet Hospital in May of 2012 and currently works full time. Merced has been working with animals for over 13 years and has had pets all his life. When Merced is not at the clinic, he enjoys being in the great outdoors, going shopping, reading, spending time with his family and pets. Merced is a proud pet parent of 3 toy size Chihuahuas named "Hershey", "JujuBee", and "Bitsy", and a rescued chinchilla silver shaded persian cat named "Pelussa." He also has a sun conure and a large aviary where he keeps exotic pet bird finches, as a hobby. Merced also has a few pet fish, a rabbit whom showed up on his front porch, and miniature chickens. As you see Merced has a high passion for animals and their care. He is friendly and courteous and loves to SMILE.

Sheena Garcia - Animal Hospital in Fremont, CA
Sheena joined Aborn in February of 2016, before joining us she was volunteering here while pursuing her Vet Assisting certification with Animal Behavior College. She is allergic to cats, but that does not stop her from working here as she loves animals with a passion. She owns a 5 year old Yorkie mix named Trina with an immune disorder, a 7 year old pit named Panda with allergies, and recently adopted a Schnoodle that came to Aborn for services from NorCal Animal Rescue. She named him Baloo and loves to take him everywhere including frequent visits to the beach and parks. On her free time she takes adventures with her dogs and read a great book.

Autumn Jones

Autumn joined Aborn Pet Hospital in January of 2017 and is working part time. She is 21yrs old and currently taking courses at Chabot Community College, and is planning on transferring to Foothill College in Los Altos and pursuing an RVT Certification in their Veterinary Technology program. She loves animals and has owned many pets like fish, birds, reptiles, cats, and dogs. Autumn currently owns a tabby cat named Bobby and an aquarium housing 3 fish and a snail. She has volunteered at other veterinary hospitals and a wild life center taking care of sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife. She has also fostered kittens for a rescue organization. On her free time she spends time outdoors fishing, hiking, camping, and skydiving.

Victoria Morales

Victoria Morales has been working as a receptionist at Aborn since August of 2013 . She has three dogs, a 4 month old Doberman puppy named Chucho, Mel a 5 year old longhair chihuahua rescue, and the last member is a 2 year old Boxer/Pit mix named Ram. Currently she is enrolled at Ohlone College and hoping to pursue a nursing degree.
